New path & steps.

On Saturday work started making the new steps to the shore beyond the Lighthouse store.
Dave had done some initial work excavating the sand and stone to a firm foundation.

Tom, Mick, Joan & Dave did a great job making shuttering and a big job, mixing a vast amount of concrete to fill the foundations














How many Fergies does it take to make a step ??

ROUND SCOTLAND SOLO CANOEIST ARRIVES AT BROUGH

Nick Ray is canoeing around the coast of Scotland raising money for RNLI.

Joanne Kaar made contact with Nick at Scrabster via twitter and invited him to call in at Brough Harbour for a bacon butty and coffee.

KNITTING & HARBOUR WORK DAY

June 13th - WORK DAY & KNIT IN PUBLIC DAY
AT BROUGH HARBOUR.

An Interesting day, while BBA members weeded & cleared the paths outside the buildings and compacted the new floor in the bothy, a group of knitters took part in a 'Knit in Public day' in the Lighthouse store.

Bothy Night at Brough Harbour

The Bothy Night on the 8th June was Amazing.

11 musicians and singers, plus a 'whistler', entertained an audience of around 50 on a very calm night at Brough harbour.     Refreshments were provided and donations of over £300 were raised for BBA.
